How many Yards of Fabric to make a Crib Skirt
The question is that how many yards of fabric to make a Crib Skirt is needed? The answer also depends on fabric you are using. If you are using accent fabric, you need 2¾ yards of fabric. On the other hand if you are using Muslin, you need 1½ yards of fabric to make a crib skirt.
Accent Fabric is used for decorative ruffles and Muslin is used just for platform to hold the skirt. To make the skirting part, you need to cut the 29/53 inches of fabric out of Muslin. On the other hand, you need to cut 6 strips (every strip should be of 16 inches length) out of accent fabric. These strips should be sewn together . If the fabric is patterned, each piece should be sewn in the proper way, so the print proceeds in the same direction.
